Word Study Watercolors!

I was feeling like word study was getting a bit repetitive so last week I thought I would change it up a bit! The kids really enjoyed painting their spelling words! It also turned out to be a good spacial awareness lesson, trying to fit all of the painted words on the piece of paper!

  4. I love this activity. I use white crayon to write the words and then they water color over it to make the words appear.

By the way I have given you an award. Head over to my blog to check it out!

  5. Such a fun idea! My kiddos would love doing this! And I would love to hear what your team comes up with for your underground railroad unit next year! It is such an interesting topic to learn about and the kids are always so engaged! I also love all of the music you can bring into the unit!
